Welcome to the Slingshot ALPHA!
Thank you for helping us with this early stage of testing. During the ALPHA phase, our primary goal is to identify and resolve any bugs or quality issues before we move on to broader user testing. Your role is crucial—by reporting any problems you encounter, you’ll help us create a smoother, more stable experience.
Please focus on providing thorough details for each issue you find. This helps our development team quickly understand and address the problem.
Your Role as a Alpha Tester:
As an ALPHA tester, your primary goal is to identify technical issues and bugs in their earliest stages. By thoroughly exploring the platform, attempting various actions, and taking note of unexpected behaviors, you’ll help us pinpoint areas that need attention. Your reports will guide our development team in prioritizing and fixing problems, ensuring a more stable and reliable experience as we progress toward our broader BETA release.
In short, you are:
Our Early Eyes and Ears: Spotting issues before most users ever see them.
A Problem Finder, Not a Designer: During ALPHA, we’re not asking you to critique design choices or user experience. Your focus should be on functional and technical problems only.
A Critical Thinker: If something doesn’t work as intended, breaks, or feels off on a technical level, report it. Even small issues may have bigger implications.
A Valuable Contributor: Your findings help us fix issues early, saving time and ensuring a smoother experience for everyone in the next stages.
Instructions:
Report each unique issue separately. Reporting requires you to be logged into your Google account.
Provide as much detail as possible, especially when describing steps to reproduce.
Include screenshots or logs if available.
